Elegant Rhythms is the new LP from JUNO Award winning producer/DJ, Teen Daze. Written and recorded over the past four years, it is a vulnerable and personal look at the life of Jamison Isaak. After several years of exploring music made for a dancefloor, Elegant Rhythms is more indebted to the singer songwriters of the 70s, the sophistipop sounds of the 80s and the vaporwave sounds of the 10s. The album features contributions from Andy Shauf, Sam Wilkes and Max Jaffe, and will be released on Isaak's label, Easy Listening Recordings. From Teen Daze: Elegant Rhythms is an album that took me four years to make. I made and released a lot of other music in the meantime, but this one has been in the works the whole time. I put my heart and soul into this record, and every song on the album is imbued with a level of vulnerability that I've never shared before. These songs were my way of processing the big moments of life we've gone through in the last four years: starting a family, losing a pregnancy, dealing with generational trauma, confronting questions about purpose as we get closer to 40. It's my most personal album to date.Tracklisting:A1. Back yardA2. We're out of phase againA3. Nothing's gonna change my loveA4. NeighbourhoodB1. Fade awayB2. Fall aheadB3. HST underwaterB4.
